| Photos | | Photos have always been an issue on p4f. We know that a photo will always attract more attention to a profile, yet people are frequently slow or very reluctent to upload one. In particular the members of the male gender!! Many of us do not like our own photos, I dont know why? British reserve perhaps. So when we do find a picture of ourselves that we like, it can often be one that is quirky or out of context or there is something else in the photo that is appealing. Well, please do send in a pic, it does brighten your profile, it does get more attention and I will possibly put it on the front page (now that has frightened you off again). One featuring your head and shoulders is ideal, then the others can be of anything, though we do like to keep them clean on here!. If you have not got any on digitlal for uploading, then send hard copies to the office and we can scan it for you and send back the originals if you need them. | what's the world coming to | there has been to big events in my life first of all i dragged myself out of devon and for those who know me know that is no small thing and made it all the way to scotland where i meet happy chick . the secound big thing that has happend to me is that she wants to see me again !!! so maybe with a following wind and i can keep the bag on my head i might be able to con her into taken me on and sort me out

| Cow of the Week Award!!!! | | And this week's winner is ..... (drum roll please Mr Admin?) ........... Dancing Doughnut!!! A pedigree jersey cow that gave 28 litres of lovely milk on her best day this week! Doughnut is over 11 years old and, theoretically, should have been culled 3 years ago when she had mastitis and lost one quarter and later became a very high cell count cow (her milk was just used for feeding calves)! However, in this her 9th lactation her cell count is down to less than 200 and she is firing on all four quarters! | The happy day. | | A wedding occurred just outside Barnsley in Yorkshire.
To keep tradition going, everyone gets extremely drunk and the bride's and groom's families have a storming row and begin wrecking the reception room and generally kicking the hell out of each other.
The police get called in to break up the fight.
The following week, all members of both families appear in court.
The fight continues in the courtroom until the judge finally brings calm with the use of his gavel, shouting, Silence in court!'
The courtroom goes silent and Arkwright, the best man, stands up and says, 'Judge, I was the best man at the wedding and I think I should explain what happened.'
The judge agrees and asks him to take the stand. Arkwright begins his explanation by telling the court that it is traditional in a Yorkshire wedding that the best man gets the first dance with the bride.
The judge says, 'OK.'
'Well,' said Arkwright, 'after I had finished the first dance, the music kept going, so I continued dancing to the second song, and after that the music kept going and I was dancing to the third song, when all of a sudden the groom leapt over the table, ran towards us and gave the bride an unmerciful kick right between her legs.'
Shocked, the judge instantly responded, 'God, that must have hurt!'
'Hurt?' Arkwright replies. 'He broke three of my fingers

| Thank You Gabriel Oak ... P4F works !! | | I joined on the recommendation of Gabriel Oak, 6 days ago. Been out tonight on my first date with 'inimitable'.
He drove down from Suffolk laden with Red Roses and the spaniel Henry ... Had a fab night just got in.
Going up to his place for the weekend ... So fingers crossed that it will be the start of something very, very good !!

Jo (Pink Enigma) and myself are officially 'seeing each other'. We hit it off straight away and even though I was to scared to give her a hug on the first date, she gave me a second chance and things are going really well.
I won't get all soppy on here but she is the most caring, happy, funny, attractive (well, absolutley gorgeous) woman I have ever met and I am totally smitten!
